We are not the telecom provider, we do not own or operate the telecom network, and all approved subscribers are customers of the applicable telecommunications provider.

This Privacy Policy explains how InternetPhonePayBill.com handles personal information, subscriber information, customer proprietary network information, and other confidential information collected or processed through our website, approved order websites, approved inbound call channels, approved events, and other contract-approved promotional methods.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect or process:

  • Subscriber information and information generated in connection with an order
  • Communications with us
  • Consent records, opt-out requests, and do-not-solicit requests
  • Technical, transactional, and system information generated through approved ordering, website, or compliance systems

Where an approved order process requires sensitive data such as Social Security numbers or driver’s license information, that information is handled only through approved ordering methods and for order-related purposes.

2. How We Use Information

We use and process information to:

  • Respond to requests for service information
  • Promote eligible third-party telecommunications services
  • Qualify potential subscribers and verify requested services
  • Submit, confirm, finalize, support, or document service orders
  • Connect you with DSI, an approved order-writing team, or the applicable telecommunications provider
  • Maintain required compliance records
  • Train, supervise, and manage authorized personnel
  • Prevent fraud, unauthorized activity, misleading sales practices, slamming, cramming, and other improper conduct
  • Comply with contractual, legal, regulatory, security, audit, and recordkeeping obligations
  • Respond to disputes, complaints, law enforcement requests, and regulatory inquiries
  • Maintain and improve our security, continuity, and compliance processes

We use confidential information only as needed to perform our rights and obligations as an authorized retailer.

3. Our Role and Ownership of Information

Under our authorized retailer agreement, information relating to subscribers and information generated in connection with an order is treated as confidential information of DSI and/or the applicable telecommunications provider. We handle that information only for permitted promotional, ordering, customer-assistance, compliance, security, and legal purposes.

We do not present ourselves as the telecommunications provider. We act only as an authorized retailer and customer-assistance channel for approved services.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • DSI Distributing, Inc. d/b/a DSI Systems, Inc.
  • The applicable telecommunications provider or its approved affiliates
  • Employees, agents, contractors, and service providers who need the information to perform authorized functions
  • Approved order-processing, call-recording, IT, hosting, security, backup, storage, compliance, and audit service providers
  • Government agencies, regulators, law enforcement, courts, local exchange carriers, interexchange carriers, or other parties where disclosure is required or permitted by law
  • Other parties where necessary to investigate complaints, respond to disputes, protect rights, or comply with legal and contractual duties

We do not use confidential information outside the purposes permitted by our agreement and applicable law.

5. Marketing Communications and Contact Preferences

We may contact you about services you request or ask about through approved methods. Where required, our online forms, communications, and internet marketing identify our business and obtain consent for follow-up communications.

If you ask not to be contacted by telephone, email, mail, or in-person solicitation, we will process that request and maintain or update the appropriate do-not-solicit records as required by our agreement and applicable law.

Commercial email communications, where used, will follow applicable law, including opt-out requirements and sender identification requirements.

6. Social Media and Public Channels

We may use approved social media and digital marketing content to promote services. However, we do not use social media or other public channels to receive or exchange specific order information or confidential customer information. If you need to discuss order details or personal information, you should use an approved website, call center, or direct support channel.

7. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect confidential information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, loss, destruction, or alteration. These safeguards include, as appropriate:

  • Restricted access on a need-to-know basis
  • Written security and facility procedures
  • System, server, database, workstation, and application-level protections
  • Employee and contractor training
  • Backup, recovery, and continuity procedures
  • Security testing and audit support
  • Encryption for approved mobile-device use involving confidential information

We do not store DSI or telecommunications provider data on our own servers or workstations beyond what is necessary to perform our duties under the agreement.

8. Security Incidents

If a security incident affects subscriber information, customer proprietary network information, personally identifiable information, or other confidential information covered by our agreement, we will preserve related records and coordinate the response with DSI and the applicable telecommunications provider.

Where our agreement applies, DSI and the telecommunications provider may control whether notice is given to affected individuals, regulators, law enforcement, consumer reporting agencies, or others, and may determine the content of any required notice and the scope of any remediation.

9. Your Choices

You may request that we stop contacting you through certain promotional methods, including phone, email, mail, or in-person solicitation. You may also contact us to update inquiry information or raise privacy concerns.

Because certain subscriber and order-related information is handled under our authorized retailer agreement with DSI and the applicable telecommunications provider, some requests may need to be coordinated with those parties.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices, contract requirements, legal obligations, industry standards, security controls, or service offerings. Updated versions will be posted on this page and become effective when posted.
